It's the seventh Feelgood Friday since lockdown, and it's a very special one as we mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day.

We've renamed this week's Feelgood Friday to Thankful Friday as we celebrate the service, sacrifice and strength, of the heroes who made VE Day possible 75 years ago.

Before the Coronavirus outbreak, there was a debate around whether technology was good or bad for society.

But thanks to online home-schooling helping our children, video conferencing allowing us to communicate with colleagues and Facetiming meaning we can stay in virtual touch with relatives the debate has waned. And technology has been embraced by more people than ever.

Welcome to the sixth Feelgood Friday update from us at The Property Shop Swindon.

Added to that encouraging update here are four fabulous pieces of news we've rounded up to bring some much-needed optimism to our community in Swindon.

It's time for a bit of Thursday fun in Swindon as we look at some of the lighter moments we've experienced during the lockdown. A 2 Minute-read.
